These are heart shaped French Toast. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out the bread before you dunk in your egg mixture. Try adding 1/2 tsp of vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg to your egg mixture if you haven't tried this in the past, it's yummy! Tangerine pieces placed like hearts and some yogurt. That's it for this dish!
These are heart shaped pancakes. Make your pancake batter and place in a zipper lock bag. Cut a small hole in one corner of the bag and you have your very own pancake dispenser. You can make any shape this way. Make sure your pan is hot and start with your outline first and then fill in the middle. Add some icing sugar and syrup for your love.
Heart shaped Ham & Cheese Sandwich. Again, using cookie cutters, of two different sizes. I put purple lettuce leaves on top to make the heart pop better. Sandwich shapes of any kind are always a big hit.
This is a chicken & tomato wrap. I flattened the bread with a glass and cut the crust off. Then I used the trusty cookie cutter to make the hearts down the center. I stuffed it and sealed it close with some butter. I used the same cookie cutter to cut out the heart on the round cheese, and added some pink marshmallows for a treat. Tiffany over at Cute Food For Kids makes amazing things with these round cheese's.
And lastly, some veggies. I used a tiny heart shaped cookie cutter and cut hearts out of carrot dollars and placed all pieces in lunch. Kidlets will have fun trying to put the pieces back together as well as eating them.
Hope you can try some of these ideas out. Happy Valentines Month! ;)
